Peter Frost – Managing Director UKRF Ltd.
Peter originally qualified as a Mechanical Design Engineer. From 1973 he re-trained with The Marconi Company as a Microwave Design Engineer in their Microwave Research and Engineering Group. In 1979 Peter changed to a sales career with Omni-Spectra and M/A Com, moving onto Gabriel, Walmore, Credowan and Elettronica-UK and L-TEQ Ltd.
In 1999, along with two co-Directors, Peter set up UKRF Ltd to supply RF and Microwave Components and Satellite Communications Equipment into the UK market.
Tony Green – Technical Director UKRF Ltd.
Qualified to degree level, Tony is a member of both the IEEE and IIE. Originally working in an engineering environment as a development engineer for Marconi, (from 1972 to 1978), then moving into the RF and Microwave area working for Dymar Electronics (1978-1980), and Pye Dynamics (1980-85) as an RF Engineer. In 1985 he moved into a Sales and Marketing role with Walmore Electronics, followed by ten years at L-TEQ (1989-1999), until he became one of the founders of UKRF Ltd. in 1999.
Specialising in Microwave Communications Systems, Tony has had over 30 years experience of Satellite Communications dating from the early days of the ‘Scot’ system at Marconi to providing uplink systems to BT and Cable & Wireless. In his spare time Tony is a keen Radio Ham (G8NRB/M0NRB), and can often be heard on the VHF, UHF, 80m & 160m Bands using his home built equipment.
